Growing up, Amberlee always wanted a little sister. Unfortunately, her mother battled cervical cancer and could not carry another child.

Amberlee was born premature.

“I was three months early and weighed under three pounds,” she said.”

But she thrived and is now a healthy mother of two.

She says her daughters are best friends and she was destined to become a mother.

“It is breathtaking to watch these beautiful children blossom into their own personalities.”

Witnessing the struggle of infertility at such a young age stuck with Amberlee and led her to surrogacy.

Before she met her potential IP’s, Amber spent the night preparing.

“I am a huge planner,” she said.

“I was on you tube and in the Facebook support group getting advice, just diving in to all the info I could!”

When the skype call started she says her nerves melted away.

“I realized they are human just like me and they are nervous just like me too.”

“Suddenly I knew, this is it, this is the family I will help grow!”

Amberlee is excited that her entire family is so supportive of her surrogacy journey.

“Even, my six-year-old daughter Natalie understands that we are going to help another family have a baby.”
