First time surrogate Amanda is no stranger to helping those struggling to have a baby.
She is a two-time egg donor and says she doesn’t want to stop at just one surrogacy journey.
“My sister-in-law can’t have children because of a terrible jet ski accident that happened when she was just 14,” said Amanda. “I also want to carry for her when she is ready to start the surrogacy process.”
As a mother of four (two boys and two girls) Amanda may have her hands full but she says she loves every minute of it.
“I have these four amazing little people I’m raising, when they do extraordinary things I get to say, “those are my babies.”
As any mother would understand, she still considers them her babies, even as they get older.
“My youngest is eight and my oldest is now 14,” said Amanda.
“We love to have adventures together, we plan to explore Glacier National forest and Yellowstone for a week each this summer.”
Along with exploring the outdoors with her kids, Amanda loves arts and crafts!
“I paint murals on my children’s bedroom walls and made some fun transfer day goodie bags for the ladies transferring around the same day as me.”
Now at the transfer stage, Amanda says the journey has already exceeded her expectations.
“I have the most amazing Intended Parents ever!’ “I just can’t wait to see them hold their baby or babies for the first time and know that I helped them get there.”
She is looking forward to that moment because she knows how heartwarming and emotional it will be.
“A parent holding their child for the first time, wow, I’m getting teary eyed thinking about it,” she said.
“Or it might just be all the hormones!”
