Even though her Intended Father couldn’t physically be at the transfer, First-time Surrogate Ashley made sure he didn’t miss a thing!
“I recorded the transfer for him,” she said.
“He was bursting with happiness!”
Helping others is a part of Ashley’s everyday life.
She started a small nonprofit outreach program in her community to help the homeless.
“I devote a lot of my time helping others get back on their feet through grassroot efforts,” she said.
For her, Surrogacy is all about love and believing in yourself.
“Surrogacy symbolizes strength,” she said
“I want to be able to give someone the greatest gift; the gift of life, the gift of a family.”
She has been preparing for the transfer by keeping a positive outlook…and mixing in a few of the superstitions.
“I drink the pom juice even though I hate the way it tastes,” she said.
“I also am wearing a shirt that represents positive energy.”
Her family has contributes to those positive vibes.
“They are 100% supportive of my journey!”
Ashley says she has found a second family in the EMS group.
“They are always there to give advice, answer questions or just offer encouragement.”
She knows that support will come in handy in the upcoming weeks.
“I’m looking forward to a healthy pregnancy, but first must conquer the “Two-Week Wait!”
