Welcome to Expect Miracles

Our Proud Moment

About This Journey:

First time surrogate Joelynn has a strong surrogacy support system. Her husband and three children are by her side for the transfer.

“We are all in this together,” she said.

“For us, it is a family journey.”

The love for her family and specifically being a mother is why Joelynn is here in first place.

“Becoming a mother is the most overwhelming incredible feeling,” she said.

“When I think about hopeful parents who have tried for so long to have a baby and have been unsuccessful, it breaks my heart.”

One of those hopeful parents is Joelynn’s Intended Mother from Spain.

“She has been trying to have a baby for more than 10 years,” said Joelynn.

“She is so strong and is going to be a great mom.”

Joelynn and her IM hit it off right away on their skype call.

“I had just visited Spain last year so we had so much to talk about,” she said.

“It was meant to be!”

They both love traveling, music and cooking different types of food.

“We text and email regularly and share yummy recipes,” said Joelynn.

“I think it is so important for me to cook traditional Spanish dishes, that my Intended Mother likes to prepare, so the baby or babies will experience mama’s cooking style.”

Joelynn is excited to skype with her Intended Mother during the transfer.

“I want her to be a part of as many moments as possible,” she said.

“She will also be meeting my family for the first time during the transfer.”

Her Intended mother is transferring two female embryos, so Joelynn is sporting a pink hat with a pineapple for good luck.

When asked about a moment that she is looking forward to, Joelynn could not hold back the tears.

“I can’t wait to see the look on her face when she holds her baby for the first time,” she said.
