When Yizhar was asked the question:

“What does becoming a father mean to you,”

His answer brought both him and his surrogate Aleana close to tears.

“Becoming a father is the meaning of my life,” he said.

“I’ve been waiting for this a very long time.”

Yizhar is now closer to achieving his dream through Surrogacy.

When he met Aleana over skype, he knew she was the right surrogate.

“It took me one minute to know she was a perfect match.”

Aleana felt the same.

“It was like I was talking to a family member,” she said.

They continued to speak online and on the phone because Yizhar is all the way in Israel and it would be difficult to meet in person.

But for Aleana’s transfer Yizhar made the trip all the way out to California!

“The main reason I wanted to come here was to meet Aleana,” he said.

“This is also a good opportunity to support her through the transfer and meet everyone involved with the Surrogacy.”

It is rare to have an International Intended Parent travel to the transfer.

Aleana says she feels very lucky that he did.

“To finally meet my Intended Parent in person and have him here is pretty amazing.”

“I am one of the lucky ones to get to have him by my side, it is so exciting!”

Both Aleana and Yizhar say they are in it for the long haul and know this is still just the beginning.

“I think it is important to stay positive through this journey and know that the next stage will come when it is meant to,” said Aleana.

“We are here for a reason.”
