Life may not deal out a fair hand when it comes to fertility; but that doesn’t mean game over. Rebecca Corona, a mother of three, has helped two couples start a family through surrogacy and says her decision to become a surrogate was simple.

I have been blessed with a remarkable ability to bear children and if something that comes so easy to me could change someone’s life, how could I not help?

It just felt natural for me to become a surrogate. Over the last few years, I’ve witnessed friends struggle with fertility.

A coworker of mine became a surrogate and I decided to move forward with the process myself.

During my first surrogacy I helped a couple from Australia and gave birth to a healthy 10 pound baby boy!

My second surrogacy was for a California couple and I gave birth to beautiful twin girls.

Having support through the surrogacy process is extremely important. My agency has been so instrumental in my success and happiness.

I have been able to connect with other surrogates, share our stories and pass on my knowledge.

Having the support from my family was very important also.

I could have done this alone, But I wouldn’t want to. Having my amazing husband by my side has made this so enjoyable it has become a family affair.

My happiness must have been contagious because after witnessing my positive experiences through surrogacy, both of my sister-in-laws have decided to become surrogates too!

I am awaiting a sibling project for my last family but in the mean-time I still have more to give.

I have been pumping milk and donating to the Preemie Milk Bank.

The Milk Bank helps premature babies all over the United States get the proper nutrition they need to develop.

Through these amazing experiences I’ve come to realize that being a surrogate isn’t just what I do, it’s who I am.

Because of this, I have felt the lasting joy of changing lives.
