When Charlotte and her Intended Fathers, Shi and Gadi, sat down for their interview they couldn’t stop smiling.

They had just spent the week together in Los Angeles leading up to Charlottes transfer that was earlier that day.

Charlotte traveled from Arizona and her IF’s came all the way from Israel.

“We just had to be here,” said Shai and Gadi.

“She is part of our family.”

Sitting together, holding hands, they spoke about the transfer. Gadi and Charlotte laughed a bit about how nervous Shai was during the procedure.

“I was just amazed by how interesting it was and getting to be there with Charlotte was so incredible.”

“I’m still in a little bit of shock.”

They transferred two embryos, one boy and one girl.

“They are going to be the best dads,” said Charlotte.

“I am so lucky that I get to be their surrogate and give them this gift!”

Both Shai and Gadi interrupted that statement and looked at Charlotte.

“We are the lucky ones.”

“Plus, we already got a gift…you, Charlotte, you are a gift to us.”

After those heartfelt words, tears quickly followed.

Over the week Charlotte, her mother, Shai and Gadi spent time together enjoying the sites of Hollywood and having meals together. One dinner stood out to Charlotte.

She was very excited to read the fortune cookies after they ate at a Chinese Restaurant.

“I couldn’t believe it, Gadi’s said: “Your greatest dream will come true” and Shai’s was “Health and Happiness is on the way!”

“It is meant to be,” Charlotte said with a confident grin.

The Intended Fathers said it was great to meet so many people who are involved in the surrogacy journey.

“It helps to build trust when you can talk in person to the doctors and staff from the agency,” said Shai.

“The most important thing to us is meeting Charlotte and we trust her above all else.”

When asked about what they’re most looking forward to about parenthood, Gadi was quick to answer.

“I can’t wait to hear “Abba” for the first time.

Abba is the Hebrew word for father.

At that moment the three embraced in a hug and Charlotte, their strong surrogate, spoke confidently and made them all smile once again.

“Don’t worry guys, I got this, I got this.”
