Helping others runs in the family for first time surrogate Megan and her husband.

“My husband donated sperm a couple years ago to help a couple conceive,” she said.

“They now have a healthy little girl.”

Megan has always felt a calling to surrogacy.

The California mom has three active boys and as a family they enjoy experiencing the golden state sunshine by going to the beach and playing sports. Each summer they take a family trip to one of the local theme parks.

“I love seeing the big smiles on my children’s faces,” she said.

“I feel everyone has the right to be a parent and should be able to experience the joy of raising a child, it truly fills your heart.”

She has been matched with two intended fathers and has a more practical approach for good luck on transfer day.

“I am not really following any of the superstitions,” she said.

“I believe if it’s going to work then it will and I am keeping a positive mind set.”

That was all Megan needed, she recently received positive pregnancy results!

“Now, I am looking forward to delivery day,” she said.

“Seeing the look in their eyes: joy, a little fear and “okay what’s next,” all rolled in to one!”

But, as a parent, she knows all those moments are full of love; the type of love you experience once you become a family.

“I remember the first time I held my babies,” she said.

I can’t wait to see the look on the Intended Parents face when they finally have their baby in their arms.”

For Megan, that is what surrogacy is all about.
