During a surrogacy journey there may be surprises along the way or situations you didn’t expect. This especially rings true for delivery day, which doesn’t always go according to plan. First-time surrogate Danielle says she was prepared to be flexible.
“After a full day of contractions but no dilation, we decided to do a C-section,” she said.
Danielle gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
“My favorite moment was watching the parents meet their son.”
“The glow in their eyes was priceless!”
Danielle says she stayed active during her pregnancy and felt great.
“I love to dance and did Zumba class two times a week.”
“No complications, or weird food cravings…at times I almost forgot I was pregnant!”
Plus, she had a lot of support from the people in her life, like family and co-workers.
“Even my patients at work were supportive and encouraging,” she said.
For Danielle, seeing the family she helped create, finally together, is a memory that will remain in her heart always.
“At that moment I knew I wanted to be a surrogate again.”
